HEM2 Crashes Upon Open - Issue Resolution Not Resulting in Email

My HEM2 is crashing upon attempting to open. Issue resolution pops up and when I submit my email address/description of the issue and click "send error report" I don't receive a response email. I upgraded to Windows 8.1 last night and did not have this issue prior. I can submit the report details if need be. Any ideas what my issue is? Thank you!
