    Default database deleted

    Hi,

I play on my desktop and have HEM on my laptop too. I had some settings on my laptop that I wanted to transfer to my desktop, so I used the backup and restore. But now it appears my hands are no longer accessible. (When I click on a session I see the results and number of hands but I can not actually review the hands.) How do I fix this? I want to keep the existing database but update my settings to match the laptop.

    Edit:

Looks like the hands are back now, but none of my settings were updated. I had some hands marked that aren't showing up on the desktop and none of my hud settings were updated.

You can choose what all to back up and restore in the settings.

    Hi,

I just want to restore the settings (Hand markings, player notes, etc. that I took on my laptop). I can create a backup of the settings, but I don't know what to do after that. How do I restore it on the new computer? Do I transfer a specific file to USB drive and restore that way?

Move the backup file to the new computer and restore it. If you're doing notes, import the hands first, then restore, so the notes will be added to the database.

After creating a backup, I see a file called HEM Backup 5/12.... is that the only file I need to transfer to the other computer to restore?

And I have been using HMSync to update my hands.

You should keep your raw hands and I recommend backing up the HUD every time you make a change.
