    Default Lost Database

    Hello.

I recently had my laptop stolen and on it was my HM2+OM2 with my database and all of my hand histories.

Is it possible to retrieve my hand history using the PokerStars "request a hand history" tab where you can request a certain amount of hand histories dating back to a certain time? And if so, can I then import it into my HM2+OM2?

Also, I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this but is it possible to retrieve all of the notes I made on players via the PokerStars client?

    Thanks in advance!

You will need to email their support to get that many hands.

    The notes are saved locally.

Please see this FAQ to transfer/backup data:

Hold'Em Manager 2 FAQs - Poker Software :: What Files Should I Backup to Protect my Holdem Manager?

This will ensure that you have your hand histories and HUD saved to import into a new computer, and as a backup to restore in case of an emergency.

You can also save the notes.playername.xml file in c:\users\username\appdata\local\pokerstars for backup.
