Default HM2 performance on standard user

    Hey,

I recently installed HM2 and everything works fine as far as I can tell and when I start HM2 on my admin it loads immediately and runs smooth.
But when I try to use it on my main account who has the rights of a standart user it takes about 30 seconds to load and the program freezes from time to time especially when I try to move my HUD.

Is there a way to make it run as good as it does on my administrator account?

    Thanks in advance

HM2 must be used with a Windows Admin user account for optimal performance.

    I know.

But I was asking if there is a way to run it with better performance?!
I dont need it optimal but good would be nice

I don't really want to use my admin user account surfing in the internet during the breaks.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and AntiVirus are you using?

Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with Holdem Manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

    1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
    2) Reboot your computer
    3) Please install the latest version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ger_2_Beta.exe
    - After downloading, you should right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock. Then, right click the file and run as administrator.
    4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rewall%29#MSES
    5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows

Are you running Notecaddy also and do you have many definitions or use any of the NC Edge or NC Advantage packages? Those can also have an impact on large database with large definitions.
If you do I would suggest reading this thread which will help improve the performance when using NC:
NoteCaddy speed improvement - Assaultware Wiki

Please check these 2 FAQs and try all the steps there to see if they help:

A few other things you could try to see if it helps when playing:
    - Does it help you disable the Options > Settings > General Settings > Miscellaneous > [ ] 'Automatically Refresh' option and restart HM2?
    - Try leaving HM2 on the 'Home' tab when playing.
    - Try picking a villain in the reports that only has a few hands in your database instead of your hero and restart HM2.
    - Try creating a new smaller database with just hands from the past 1 or 2 months to use when playing - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...y+played+hands

This seems not necessary to me since it works 100% on real administrator.

    done.

After this HM still needs about 30 seconds to start on standard user and freezes from time to time.

When I turn off my UAC HM2 starts immediately without asking for an admin password but fails to load HQML and asks to run it as administrator but my properties from HM2 are set to "run as administrator".
    Any advice for this?

I guess the only option to solve "the problem" if possible is to change something with windows I didn't discover yet .

To recap what my goal with this thread is: I want to run HM2 (with admin rights ofc) on a standard user account as good as possible since I really can't use it on a full admin account.

I hope you understand what I mean.
    Sorry for the trouble.
    Thanks in advance!

BitDefender is one of the programs that causes many problems with HM2. You will need to try uninstalling it and/or running HM2 when using an Admin account.

    done.

The way HM2 works on many sites requires Admin privileges. We simply can't help you if you refuse to use it when logged in to an admin account. The following instructions should generally solve the HMQL loading error but might not help if you are using HM2 as a standard user, even if you are running it as admin.

    Open the Start Menu.

Expand Programs and go to Accessories.

Right-click command prompt and run it as administrator.

In Windows 8, right-click the start link, click Command Prompt (as Administrator).

    Type:

    Code:
    netsh winsock reset
    and finally press enter
