Default Updated PostgreSQL, can't find any HM dbs/hands anymore

    Hey,

Today I tried to open my HM2, but it messaged that HM2 wasn't able to connect postgresql. I tried to change port etc, but nothing worked. Therefore I decided to update my postgresql (from 8.4 to 9.3). I installed it and now I'm able to open HM2, but have no idea how to get my old dbs and hands back. Are they gone for good? I still have the old version (8.4) of postgresql installed to my computer too.

    Thanks!

    Default

Reimport your hands into the new empty (PostgreSQL 9.3) database.
Run a import from folder on your archive folder: C:/HM2Archive.

If you need additional data from your old database (notes, your bonuses/rakeback info, hand markings, etc), you'll have to fix the PostgreSQL 8.4 server.

    First try to reboot.

    If no help, try this:

    Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.4 > Stop Service

    Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.4 > Start Service

If that doesnt help delete the \postgresql\8.x\data\postmaster.pid file, if you see it. And reboot.
