    Default Upgrade Problems

I recently bought a HM2 license to upgrade from HM1 and when I try to enter my license after opening HM2 I get the following error:

"The license server could not be contacted. Make sure your computer is connected to the internet."

I am connected to the internet and am using no proxies when I try to do this.

It looks like COMODO is blocking HM2 from accessing the internet but I don't know how to stop that.

Edit: Not sure what happened but it worked after some fiddling with COMODO. One other odd thing that happened was that at first it was asking me to enter a license code even though I had 27 days left on my trial and after changing my firewall settings it let me proceed with the trial and I had no problems entering the license. It wouldn't even open without a license before.

All of your problems are likely related to Comodo. It causes a variety of problems with our software and we suggest you replace it with something else to reduce the chance of problems when playing poker.

Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with Holdem Manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

    1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
    2) Reboot your computer
    3) Please install the latest version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ger_2_Beta.exe
    4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ender+Problems
    5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows
