Popup Designer - Colored borders not working

I cannot apply colored borders to cells in the popup designer.

All windows updates are applied, everything set to run as admin, all folders un-ticked from read-only, all apps included in firewall/antivirus exceptions, latest fresh install of .net framework, etc. I've done it all.

Am I missing something more simple? It worked last time I edited my popups, quite a few versions ago.

Is Settings > Auto Rate Rules > [x] Enable Auto Rate and HUD Settings > General Settings > Common Settings > [x] Show Auto Rate Icon both enabled for your HUD Config?

No, HUD Settings > General Settings > Common Settings > [ ] Show Auto Rate Icon is un-ticked.

I'm not talking about the colored border around players HUDs, I mean the colored border around specific cells within a popup.

Here's what my 3bet popup looks like:

After I created my 3bet popup, I thought "button 3bet vs cutoff" was important and I looked for it regularly. Also, it was in a new place so I added a bright teal border around it so it would grab my eyes easier while multi-tabling.

Now I want to add that border to another stat in a different popup, but borders are completely broken. In fact, they don't show at all in the popup editor:

Even clicking the borders icon/tool and trying to apply new borders to cells doesn't work.

Note: that different light-blue colored border you see in these last 2 screenshots is the targeted cell and has nothing to do with borders.

Final note: It seems to me that this "targeted cell" border is a different color from the last time I used popup designer. It is my belief there was an update to the popup designer that broke colored borders.

If I were to re-roll to a far previous version of HEM from months ago, I bet I could edit colored borders in the popup designer.

It's not just the preview. Actually applying it to cells not only does not show in preview, it does not effect the HUD popup from the HUD even after applying changes.

Does it still show in the cell as having the applied change? Are you verifying on the right popup?

No, applying the changes and saving them doesn't effect the popup at all.

I cannot reproduce this.

Change the border, then click apply and ok immediately after.
