HD crashed | trying to recover DB

hey

I woke up today and my windows wasn't starting, looks like something was corrupted and I had to install the windows again, but as I had my DB and a lot of things I wanted to save I didn't format

now I have acess to all the old folders from my DB and my hm2 configs but I don't know how to proceed in order to make them work with my new windows

I had postgresql 8.4, but I tried to install a few minutes ago with hm2 and I was receiving an error "could not install postgres" so I made a few searches and followed instructions to solve the problem and had to install the 8.2 version

so I'm running postgres 8.2 and I want to import my old 8.4 DB ( don't know if this is a problem )

I want to know if there's anyway to recover my old DB and ALL my hm2 configurations that I was using before, what folders I have to copy/paste from the old to the new folder ?

there's only like 30k hands on hm2archive( don't ask me why ), so importing those hands won't help much
