I read a few threads already but I'm still a bit confused.
At the moment I'm working from a laptop with an AMD Athlon II P360 processor, with 8GB of ram and a 27" monitor hooked up. I'm running HEM and Windows from an SSD.
Still I get huge CPU overload when playing >10 tables and the HUD etc loads slowly, same goes for reports, hand importing etc. IIRC I get around 40h/s import speed.
I read the HEM performance tips thread but no luck there. If anyone has any tips please let me know since I'll keep the laptop for traveling etc
So therefore I figured to build something new, a desktop, with a quadcore CPU. I was thinking an i5 should do, but all tips are very welcome.
I want to build it as cheap as possible since I'll only use it for poker, not for gaming/tv/music etc.
Thanks in advance
