Default The HEM-Replayer is so so slow!!!

    Hi there,

I wanted to review my session with the HEM2-Replayer, but it was simply impossible, it was so freakin' slow, that I had to stop. When I wanted to skio forward the action to the next player it lasted for about 30 seconds, then the replayer didn't work anymore at all, telling me there is no response from HEM-Replayer.

    In two words: unbelieveable TILTING!

Is this a general problem, is this just my PC (which is not a slow one btw....)???

Another question: when I make a sync with the cloud, are the notes saved there too, or is it just the plain HHs???

    Thanks in advance...

How many hands are you replaying? Do you have highlight action? What version is this? How big is your database?

    The notes are not synced.

    Hi,

    - I just wanted to replay one chosen hand from the report section.
    - I don't know where I can enable/disable the 'highlight action'-function.
    - I have HEM2-Version 2.0.0.7785 installed.
    - My database has 22 GB.

    Thanks....

OK, when this issues happened I had the recent beta versions of HEM2 installed.

Then yesterday I decided to downgrade to the official version of 2.0.0.7785, and here the the Replayer worked perfectly fine, no delays or anything, just smooth.

Today however, I saw that there is a new official release 2.0.0.7822, which installed today - and guess what, the replayer is slow and laggy again, using a lot of resources...

I really hope, you gonna fix this issues soon...

Am I really the only one, having this problems?

This option is in the Replayer Options.

What is your RAM and CPU? Type of hard drive? Graphics card?

1 - Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).
    2 - Update your graphics drivers - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...hicsCardDriver
    3 - Update Logitech Setpoint - Support + Downloads: SetPoint - Logitech
4 - Set desktop theme to basic, default, or a non-aero theme - Disable Aero on Windows 7 or Vista (this will be the same for win8/7)

    1) Please close HM

    2) Please open PGAdminIII

It is in the Start -> Postgres folder.

    3) Enter your postgres password. The default password is typically postgrespass.

    4) Open the databases.

    5) Highlight your database.

    6) Right click, click maintenance.

    7) Run the vacuum and analyze and reindex functions.

    Please try again.

Did everything in the post above, and it's still slow. Roughly 20-30 seconds to load the HUD, up to 5 seconds for next action to happen after pressing the arrow button. This is problematic for hand history review and my paid coaching sessions.

    Database is 800k hands
Replaying 1 hand at a time
    Version 7842
    Using a intel core i3-2129 @ 2.20ghz
    8GB ram
    64 bit operating system
Using an up to date NVIDIA GeForce GT 430
Harddrive is a SanDisk SDSSDX120GG25 ATA Device

I did update to 7845. I tried about half of all those tips to speed up performance, and it's still slow. I don't see how completing all of those tips would help the performance, as the replayer was working perfectly fine earlier in this month, up until the "support" I received from HEM as per my emails and threads.
Attached is a video showing the severity of the problem.

As you can see in the task manager, the CPU usage is low. I'm not a tech savvy person, but I would assume that that's important information regarding the performance of my computer as the potential cause of this problem.
I've also listed my computer's specs in a previous post, and forgot to mention that I have 34.7GB free out of a 111GB harddrive.

Yes. Also, now my Zoom HUD doesn't work again, even after rolling back to 7845.
