    Default Problem after postqres updgrade

I just upgraded my postgres from 8.4 to 9.0.

Before the upgrade I created a backup in pgAdmin and I created a new database once I installed 9.0, and restored it to the new database. (Actually I had 2 databases, I created a backup and a new database for each.)

Once I started HM2 I managed to connect to postgres 9.0 and it found my two new databases. However in HM2 I can't see any of my hands or stats or tournament results, it seems like an empty database. However the database is not empty, at least I still can export hands from it, moreover I can see the player's list in HM2. (But no hands at all.)

If I try to change to my other database suddenly HM2 says "it looks like this database is missing on disk" and aks me if I want to remove the reference from the list. However the database exists, I can still find it in pgAdmin.

What can be the reason and what is the solution?

    Thank you in advance.

    Default

You can not restore a 8.4 backup into 9.0.

To get your old hands into a new database, please create a new database
    http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...m+Manager+2%3F

and reimport the hands from the c:\HM2Archive folder.
    http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...Hand+Importing

All original hands that are auto-imported into HM2 get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere.
