Default HM2 consistently locking up/freezing causing an error and closing

    Hello,

I am a HM1 user that recently started a trial of HM2. The reason I did this was because my database is now very large, about 3mil of my own hands, and my HM started to act very slow constantly locking up and shuting down. So I thought it was time to give HM2 a try. The same type of thing was happening in the trial of HM2, so I decided it was time for a new computer as my desktop was getting old and wasnt able to preform very well. So I just got a new ASUS 16ram 3.6ghz i7, runs HM2 much smoother than my old computer, however, whenever I go into the reports tab, there is basically nothing I can click on without causing HM2 to lockup and give me an error message followed by the program shutting down. Most importantly, whenever I click on "more filters" (a feature that I use a ton in HM) a blank window pops up which never fully loads and causes HM to shutdown every time.

I have already tried reinstalling the program.

    I am running windows 7.

Are there any suggestions on what I can do to get the program running smoothly?

I also had major issues with last update, rolled back to previous version http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...AutoUpdate.exe and works ok again now. Imo it really isnt ok to release bad updates over and over again!

Some players are experiencing performance issues with the 7635 build, so you can definately try downgrading to 7318.

    What you also can try:

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\holdemmanager.exe, hudfuncsapp.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager2 installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

Alternative to downgrading HM2 is to temporarily use HM1.
    Latest HM1 update is: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...11_21Nov12.exe
