    Default how to uninstal postgres

    Hi,

When I tried to instal postgres at the end I got eror saying "Failed to instal postgre". And after that I did all steps from FaQs and wanted to try to instal it again, but I can't uninstal old postgres because it says its instaled (before it said failed), but in "panel>>programs" there isn't postgres (but it is in c/programfiles) and I can't uninstal it. When I tried to delete folder it said program running and I can't delete it. (I deleted postgres user). So how to fully delete postgres, that I could instal new one?

    Default

control panel > administrative tools > services.

    Try stopping the PostgreSQL service.
    Then delete the PostgreSQL folder.

    To install it again:

Turn on the secondary Logon first. The secondary logon service is a standard windows service which is available on every windows computer. In the latest versions it is not started automatically. You need to start it via control panel > administrative tools > services. Starting it once should insure it works in the future also.
