Enable the option to see Hidden Files and Disable 'Hide protected operating system files':
How to see hidden files in Windows - It should look like this:

Now Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\ Holdem Manager 2.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\ Holdem Manager 2.lic)
This folder is empty :S
Then please download and update to this version. Please try to register again at start-up after following all instructions below..:

Make sure to install on an administrator account and run as an administrator.

Add holdemmanager.exe, hudfuncapps.exe and postgres to the exceptions list in your firewall and antivirus.

is not read only and that all permissions are set to full for your user name. The folder will continue showing read only after that, this is an issue in Windows.
This was saying it was read-only. Have now unchecked it.
