Here are the steps to update to the latest version of HM2.

1) Download latest update: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...AutoUpdate.exe (6839)
2) Close HM2
3) Run Installer

Release Thread: Internal version 2.0.0.6839 - Release Candidate

Make sure to run HM2 as an administrator.

Please turn off User Account Control.

Add HoldemManager.exe, HudFuncApps.exe, Postgres and pg_ctl to the exceptions list in any firewall or antivirus software.

So according to the steps you provided above there no hand deleting necessary?

6839 still has some EV bugs.
I'd wait for the NEXT build, for you to reimport your hands into a new database.
