    Default How to delete hands to fasten DB?

    Hello,

    my database got quite big and I want to delete hands in those limits I dont play anymore, so that program work faster. Even if I purge hand histories, I dont see any change, those hands are still in the database and are viewable in Replayer. How do I get rid of them permanently?

    Purge not working properly is a known issue. Which PostgreSQL version are you using?
    Ideally, just create a new database, and reimport your recent handhistories.

    I'm using version 9.1.
    So I have to export separate limits from my common database then import each wanted limit to a new database? As I cant import just wanted limit from all the files, right?

    Purge/backup-restore feature has issues with PostgreSQL 9.1

    You should use SQL 8.4.11 instead. And reimport your hands into a 8.4 database.
