I too have the same error and I'm running on a trial 1st time user. If this doesn't work I'm gonna try Elephant holdem tracker or Poker Tracker instead. Have uninstalled and reinstalled still no HUD and waiting on hands but no stats displayed. And no hands showing in reports either.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\holdemmanager.exe, hudfuncsapp.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager2 installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

win7 64, comodo, antivir. posgresql the version u provided me with... and after that i got some updates from win 7 (security updates for this program which allow hackers to take advantage of it and take control of my whole pc) which ive installed. hm2 is the version i downloaded from ur download page yesterday.

so basically to use your program i have to open the door for hackers whom rob my whole money from my pokeraccounts? this is unacceptable..... pls write that in your buying page discription.... i cant believe pokerstrategy people advice their users to buy ur software just to get some bucks.... its really sad. if i knew that all before i wouldnt even think about paying one cent for this software :/ im doing pretty well in poker so i dont even know why i tried... :/ id really better have my money back as to get headache trying to get ur software run... :/

could u please tell me how to get the money back?

edit: now i have done everything u said just to see if it works then. uac out, exception to firewall. run as admin for the both programs and notecaddy update exe aswell. restarted my pc. now i run programm go to a table and the programm doesnt work at all. doesnt even show 'waiting for hands'..... nice program u have there.... :/

edit2: now i changed the table and all of the sudden (i did anything but change the table) 'waiting for hands' shows up again... still no statistics.... what a mess

Hi. Are you still having issues with HM2? If so, can you please explain what is happening for you now? Are you able to run HM2? Is it importing hands?

If hands are importing but the HUD is not showing:

First, please make sure your Hand Importing > Site Time Adjustments have been set correctly.

If that does not resolve the issue, please view the following FAQ and answer all the questions at the bottom of the FAQ to help us narrow down the issue.

    http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...es+not+work%3F

The more questions you answer the quicker we can narrow down the issue and provide a solution.

    For postgreSQL issues:

If you have Win7 (or Vista), consider the following:
    1) PC name must be in English and "in one word" - requires reboot after changing.
    2) The same for Windows user name. If not - create new Win user with EN name and reboot PC for this user when install Postgres. And he must have admin rights. After installation you can kill this new user - his mission is completed.
This means: if you have Russian (or French, or else) Windows - your PC name possibly contains "non-english" letters.
    Like "Вася-PC" or "Rene-PC"
The same with windows username. Or spaces in the name.
Postgres doesn't like that - and won't run as a result of it.
    3) Secondary logon service must be set to "Autostart".
This is a standard windows service which is available on every windows computer. In the latest versions it is not started automatically. You need to start it via control panel > administrative tools > services.
    4) UAC = OFF ( How to Disable and Turn Off UAC in Windows 7 « My Digital Life )
    5) Disable firewall and antivirus when installing Postgres and HM. Or uninstall them at all.
    6) All installations must run "as admin" (by right-click on file). And do them as first thing after PC reboot.
    7) If you want to change install path for Postgres (or to set non-default folder for database cluster) - download "standalone" installation file from Download PostgreSQL | EnterpriseDB
    8) If your Windows is not in English - you have to install Postgres not in default folder in Program_Files. Create new (example: c:\postgresql) first and select it when install.
    9) Install Postgres and HM separarelly, one after one. As admin. If HM (when runs for the 1st time) says "no database" - simply create it via DBControlpanel.
    10) If Postgres install fails - after uninstalling don't forget to kill windows user named "postgres":
Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt > Right-Click > Run As Administrator
In the window that appears please type the following and press enter:
    net user postgres /del
exactly as shown. You should get a confirmation if it was successful.
    11) Run all pokerclients "as admin" too.
