Holdem manager has encountered an internal SQL error!

Hallo!

A new problem has come up with my Hm 2! When i start the program this message comes up:
"Holdem manager has encountered an internal SQL error!! When i press ok it comes up again and i have to press cansel and then the hole program closes down!
It worked absolutely fine the last time witch was 2 days ago when i used it!
What is wrong this time?? Beginning to get pretty tired of all kinds of problems that just comes up without no reason!
Now i cant use hm2 at all!
Please help me again!

This is a PostgreSQL issue.

First try to reboot.

If no help, try this:

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Stop Service

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Start Service

If that doesnt help delete the \postgresql\8.x\data\postmaster.pid file, if you see it. And reboot.


If that doesn't help you will have to reinstall PostgreSQL completely

Hallo again!

Nothing of the things you tell everybody to do is working??
This started after uppdating to the latest version that you are responseble for!
I have bought a product that dosent work anymore because of something that have happend to the database after the uppgrade!
Not everyone is a computer expert that know how this things work and how to solve them when nothing you says works!
It is not us paying customers that has done something wrong that caused this problem! It is up to you to fix this for everyone with this problem because you have sold a product that dosent work anymore!
Take your responsebility and fix this problem now!!

Please reproduce the issue, close HM2 and post the log file here. This will help us to understand what is wrong with your HM2 and help us resolve the issue.

Where is my log file?

XP: c:\documents and settings\{username}\application data\HoldemManager

Win7/Vista: c:\users\{username}\appdata\roaming\HoldemManager

Hi! got my hm2 working again but why isnt it automaticaly remind me that there is a new version to download anymore???
Before all this trouble hm2 automaticaly came up that a new version was avalible but now i had 6309 and no reminder that a new version 6384 is avalible???

That is because 6384 is an internal version that must be tested for bugs and other issues before it is pushed 100% live. Once it is pushed live then the auto update notice will pop.

I read this forum page because the HM2 what I bought several days before send the following masage: "holdem manager has encountered an internal sql error" too.
Sorry but I dont really understand how "ubbster" could repair HM2.
I stopped/started the postgresql 8.4, deleted the postmaster.pid file (and it's come back if I restart the CPU) and its still not work!

unfortunetly it dose not work.
I try the hole instructions, but still not work.
the all anti virus programs were deleted and my firewall program what the simple windows xp home edition service pack 3 uses.
I cant made this: "Logon using Local System Account / 7."
Please offer a more simple way to could use the HM2 like it was.
