Problems when starting HEM - gets stuck in "Loading hands"

Often, but not always, when I start HEM, the following problem occurs

- HEM freezes in its startup in the point where it says ""Loading hands"
- The only way make HEM work thereafter is to force shutdown via windows task manager
- When I start HEM for a second time, it always works


What can be done to solve this?
