Default checkpoint request failed error when creating HM2 database on initial setup

I have tried to install HM2 a few times today, I haven't used it in quite a while as had been using PT4. I already have PostgreSQL installed. Windows 10 operating system. Anyway when I go through the setup wizard and try to create the default Holdem Manager 2 database I receive an error saying 'checkpoint request failed'

Make sure that you are using the correct password, as PT uses dbpass and we use postgrespass.

Please see the FAQ below for a resolution to any PostgreSQL password issues
Hold'Em Manager 2 FAQs - Poker Software :: Password Issues (PostgreSQL)

Make sure that the permissions are set correctly on the folders as well.

Please see this FAQ to alleviate any security bottlenecks - Hold'Em Manager 2 FAQs - Poker Software :: Set Correct Permissions on files and folders HM2 use

And try restarting the Postgres service.

The password thing wasn't an issue as I changed it to the one used for PT4. I tried all the permission suggestions in the link you provided but I still get the same problem.

Seems like you have this message because you use 64-bit version of SQL. The easiest way to fix this issue is install 32-bit version of SQL on another port and use it for HM only.

Please see this section of the Windows FAQ and reset your Winsock Adapter.

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and zip/attach your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

another possible reason: smth wrong with HDD\SSD. I`d suggest to install Acronis Drive Monitor and check HDD\SSD health.
