    Default Interesting Date Problem.

So I recently upgraded to HEM 2 from HEM 1 after enjoying the trial. I came across a problem this week where HEM wouldn't recognize any of the HH's saved by Carbon on the Merge network. I worked through all the FAQ's and scanned the forums to no avail, then the next day when my brother asked me what the date was i had informed him it was the 19th when in reality it was the 18th. I assumed this was the cause to all my problems for HEM.

However , when i went home and adjusted my win 7 date/time , i was no longer able to run HEM 2. It kept forcing me to re enter my serial key which failed every time due to validating/encryption errors. After more scanning on the forums and working througha all the FAQ's, i realized the only thing that changed today was when i adjusted the time/date.

Well, guess what? When i changed the time and date back to 1 day early, HEM loaded up 100% fine.

Ideas/Suggestions? If i want the correct date/time, i cant get HEM to work. If i want HEM to work, i cant get it to recognize HH's b/c the date/time is incorrect.

    Help Please

Uninstall HM2 > Change the date > Reinstall the latest version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...er_2_Setup.exe

Make sure you are running HM2 as an administrator
    1) Go to C:\Program Files\Holdem Manager 2 (Program Files (x86) for the 64bit version)
    2) Right click the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
    3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
    4) Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for HudFuncsApp.exe

Add exceptions for HM2, PostgreSQL, and any other programs you use for poker to your firewall and anti-virus exceptions lists.

Turn off User Account Control: http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/1...windows-7/]How to Disable and Turn Off UAC in Windows 7 My Digital Life

Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

You need to make sure that this folder

    Windows 7/8/Vista: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\
Showing hidden files and sytem files and folders: Show hidden files

    Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\User_name\Application Data\HoldemManager
Showing hidden files and sytem files and folders: Microsoft Corporation

is not read only and that all permissions are set to full for your user name. The folder will continue showing read only after that, this is an issue in Windows.
