Please reset the HoldemManager.config files.
Close HM2
Delete the HoldemManager.config and HoldemManager.config.bak files from:
7: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\
You must show both hidden files and check unhide system files. See this: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tuto...torial151.html
XP: C:\Documents and Settings\User_name\Application Data\HoldemManager
For showing hidden files and unhide system files, see this: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d....mspx?mfr=true
Then restart HM2.
You will need to configure the hand history folder paths in Hand Importing > Auto Import Folders
http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...Import+Folders
and also configure the Hand Importing > Site Time Adjustments again.

Tried this, didn't work
They do show when you select an alias that includes the player name?
And they don't show up when you just directly select the player name?
Are these games played on PokerStars?
Do they show if you reimport them into a new database?

Can you reimport everything into this new database, just abandoning the old database?

Fixed. Is there anything to say about the cause of a DB getting corrupted? IOW, is there anything that can be done to prevent it? This isn't the 1st time for me and it's quite a hassle to reimport. DB size is 2kk and using newest VAIO Z (i7, 8GB, SSD).
The 2 most common causes of this problem are: powering off your computer or having your computer lose power while the database is doing something; and an old drive with bad sectors on it.
Basically what happens is a small portion of a file gets slightly corrupt and then when you reboot and windows goes into that checkdsk procedure it finds the bad section and, thinking it is doing a good thing, removes it. Postgres then loads the table and a portion of it is gone so it doesnt like that and blocks access to the entire table. Normally when this happens it is on a completely useless file that youll never even notice is now gone but quite often it will happen to an index in the DB which can easily be rebuilt but in your case it happened to one or more of the tables.
So, to protect against this
1 - Keep your hands histories in case you do need to reimport
2 - Avoid 'hard' shutdowns (when you flick the power switch on the pc)
3 backup your database, so when a corruption still occurs you can restore the database (which will be 20x faster than having to reimport all the hands)

Usefull, thanx!
Which PostgreSQL would you advice? I know 9 isn't officially supported, but read it's less likely to get corruputed. Would 9.0/1/2 work?
9.1 isn't supported.
8.4/9.0 are supported.
9.2 will also work but isn't fully supported
