The existing bug ticket on this was HM-134.
It was closed as the required restart seemed 'normal' as we still don't understand why this would be an issue. How do you 'loose' results exactly?

I've written this up as a new bugticket though HM-5702, stating in the ticket the restart is not an option for you.

    It's quite clear to me...
You have an option called "Archive hand history files older than XX minutes"... And the SW doesn't do it..
My PC can be running for weeks without restart.. with HM2 and the pokerstars lobby running..
Pokerstars client deletes the HH in X days, and your sw is not archiving the hands in the X minutes you claim.
Oh yes, I can keep the histories of pokerstars for ages.... but HM2 will keep importing the hands as well again and again.
Never had this issue with HM1...

Patvs, where is the above archive option?

I can't find it after reading the article about General Settings:

Hand Importing---> Auto Import Folders--> set the 'archive hand history files older than x minutes'
