    Default $EV Diff and showdown allin EV line problems

    Hello everybody.
    I'm using HEM 2 on partypoker where I play cash game on NL4.
    After 37k hands I was concerned about my red line graph. So I decided to check my stats, and I found something that I cannot explain.

    Here some hands of my database:

    1. With AA I went allin preflop vs AK
    HEM hand stats:
    $: 1,68
    Equity: 93,2%
    $EV Diff: -0.21

    The equity calculation seems to be correct. The $EV Diff is instead completely wrong: whit this equity my average winnings should be: 92,2 % (1.68$) = 1.57$ with a $EV Diff of 1.57 - 1.68 = -0.11

    2. With KK I went allin preflop vx KJs
    HEM stats:
    $: 0.94
    Equity: 85,7
    $EV Diff: -0.28

    Again: equity correct. $EV should be 0,81 and $EV Diff -0.14.

    And so on for every time I went allin preflop or postflop. It looks to me like there is a big mistake in the $EV calculation: the $EV Diff calculated by HEM software seems to be twice as much as it should be. Thereby the red line graph is completely wrong.

    Any ideas?
    Thank you!

    The formula that you use for getting $EV Diff is wrong. The correct way is:

    If you won -> $EV Diff = (2$)(Equity/100) - 2$
    If you lost -> $EV Diff = - (2$)(Equity/100)

    Note: $ must have its sign.

    Please read carefully the original post. If you use your formula and the sum invested in the original post i.e. $: 1,68 you will find that you reach the same result. => - .11 $Ev diff

    I find that the EV formula is wrong myself
    QQ vs AJ on flop 78T, i have 78% Eq and i invest 26,22$ all in on this flop and i got called.
    I wond the hand and my HEM2 says i have -17,02$ EV diff

    ANy ideas please ? I had 103 bb deep with the villain

    Thanks
    qd

    The EV is calculated from the street the money goes in.
    It's irrelevent if you had more equity on an earlier street.

    You're wrong.

    He won the hand, then:
    $EV Diff = (2$)(Equity/100) - 2$
    $EV Diff = (2*1.68)(93.2/100) - (2*1.68)
    $EV Diff = -0.22848

    PD: you didn't multiply $ by 2.
